Apple is rumored to abandon iPhone
6s entirely and launching an iPhone 7 within
2015, featuring major changes in design. Speculations have surfaced that Apple,
Inc. is planning to release its iPhone 7 in October 2015, reportedly the reason
behind its exit from the iPhone 6
and iPhone 6 Plus entirely is the
significant change that the company will endow its next flagship device. While iPhone 7 rumors remain conjecture at the moment, KGI Securities has reportedly
said that the company is putting in a host of major components for the iPhone 7, including an AMOLED screen
that will go convenient on battery consumption, and a Taptic engine to enable
the same Force Touch capability seen in the Apple Watch.
The unique Force
Touch, already available in USB-C Macbooks' trackpads, responds to clicks and
the amount of pressure and pinching gestures users apply on the screen, enabling
texting and photo editing easier. While doing
a smart guess regarding iPhone 7 price,
well it will be at less at less than USD 649.
Unsurprisingly no official confirmation
regarding iPhone 7 release date but there is lots of anticipation that
Apple will unveil the iPhone 7, but the recent trend of iPhone launches
suggests that the device will appear at a special event in September. The iPhone
7 will come with the classic digital crown mechanism that's already been
integrated into the Apple Watch OS, giving users the ability to select an exact
size for on-screen elements to enable easier viewing. The phone is also rumored
to include the faster A9 processor an upgrade from the ARM processor, a higher
RAM space, and iOS 9 operating system.
It will be sporting a 4.7-inch screen, with the iPhone 7 Plus variant carrying a 5.5-inch display. While talking about iPhone 7 camera, well it will also be receiving a substantial
overhaul with image stabilization and a dual-lens camera that will capture DSLR
quality pictures. The rumor is due in part to Apple's recent acquisition of
LinX, a company that manufactures high-tech camera sensors for smartphones. With
a new Apple patent on voice unlocking granted just last month, the new iPhone
may also come with a voice unlocking feature that will phase out the traditional
unlock slide and TouchID. The phone is also reported to be built with Series
7000 aluminum alloy used in the Apple Watch Sport, a material 60 percent stronger
than what was reportedly planned to be used for the iPhone 6, but was failed
due to its weight issue.
